This is a multi purpose table. We use it for physical therapy and changing. We especially like the height adjustment. It does the job it was designed for.

School use

Our school uses the Armedica height adjustable changing table in three locations including the nurses office. It is easy to use and hasn’t missed a beat. We use the tables at least 20 times every day.

What makes this product unique?

The height of the Armedica Hi-Lo changing table adjusts via foot control, making it ideal for ergonomic positioning and wheelchair transfers. You can move it easily within a classroom, bathroom or school campus. It is a commercial grade product at a very nice price.

What does Hoyer Lift-compatible mean?

This changing table can be modified so the Hoyer lift legs clear the lower frame of the table. This means that you can be move someone from wheelchair to changing table without load-bearing. The ability to use mechanical lifts for transfers can be vital in protecting caregivers. (Please note that the minimum height for the modified table is 21”.)

Can this table be used in conjunction with a shower?

No. However it can be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. See our Pressalit Care or Lambda products for shower-compatible changing tables.

How durable is the mattress cover?

The upholstery is a high grade 34oz. vinyl with built-in Permablock 3 protective coating that creates an effective, tough barrier against bacteria, mildew, abrasion, and stains. There are no seams on the sides or corners of the mattress. It is compatible with most cleaning and disinfectant products.

What is the life expectancy of this product?

The mattress and motor should last at least 12 years of regular use with minimal parts replacement. The frame should last a lifetime.
