1. Shipping Methods & Carriers:

  • Max-Ability.com primarily utilizes freight shipping for the delivery of our adult changing tables and larger accessibility equipment due to their size and weight. We partner with reputable freight carriers to ensure safe and reliable delivery. Smaller items may be shipped via standard ground carriers (e.g., FedEx Ground, UPS Ground).
  • We offer ‘White Glove’ delivery services for select products, which includes scheduled delivery, in-home placement, and assembly. Please contact us for availability and pricing.

2. Shipping Destinations:

  • We currently ship within the contiguous United States. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact us for a custom quote.

3. Shipping Costs:

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the product’s weight, dimensions, and delivery location. Freight shipping costs will be provided during the checkout process or via a custom quote. ‘White Glove’ delivery services incur additional fees.
  • We offer free standard ground shipping on select smaller items. See individual product pages for details.

4. Delivery Timeframes:

  • Due to manufacturing lead times and freight shipping requirements, delivery timeframes can vary. Estimated delivery times are provided on individual product pages and during the checkout process. These are estimates, and not guarantees.
  • Standard ground shipping typically takes 3-7 business days. Freight shipping can take 1-2 weeks or more, depending on the carrier and delivery location. ‘White Glove’ delivery may extend the delivery timeframe due to scheduling requirements.

5. Order Processing:

  • Orders are typically processed within 5 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
  • Freight shipments require scheduling a delivery appointment with the carrier. You will be contacted by the carrier to arrange a suitable delivery time.

6. Delivery Issues:

  • Please inspect your shipment upon delivery. Report any damage or discrepancies to the carrier and Max-Ability.com immediately.

Tax Policy

1. Sales Tax:

  • Max-Ability.com is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to states where we have a sales tax nexus. The applicable sales tax rate will be calculated based on the delivery address and displayed during the checkout process.
  • For customers with tax-exempt status, please provide the necessary documentation to our customer service team before placing your order. We will then process your order without charging sales tax.

2. Tax-Exempt Customers:

  • If your organization is tax-exempt, please contact us at info@max-ability.com or 800.577.1555 prior to placing your order. Please be prepared to provide a copy of your tax-exempt certificate.

3. Tax Rate Changes:

  • Sales tax rates are subject to change. Max-Ability.com is not responsible for any changes in sales tax rates after an order has been placed.
